Approach
Elizabeth has training in a variety of counseling approaches, from traditional “talk” therapy to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is supportive, collaborative, drawing from a broad range of techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), contemplative listening, and mindfulness. Whatever the issue, together you will find the method that works best for you.
In the first appointment, you and Elizabeth will complete an initial assessment to explore your concerns and goals as well as your history and current life circumstances. This initial appointment will last 60 to 90 minutes. Subsequent visits will last approximately 50 minutes.
